Billy Bear began in 2020, in a Brisbane kitchen, with a cavoodle named Billy and a founder who couldn't find accessories worthy of him.
What followed wasn't a business plan — it was a standard. Every piece cut, stitched, and finished by hand. Every detail considered. Every order made specifically for the dog it was going home to.
Five years on, nothing about that has changed.
THE CRAFT
Billy Bear is a made-to-order accessories house. We do not hold stock. We do not rush. Every piece is crafted individually — in Brisbane, by hand, with materials chosen for how they wear over time, not just how they photograph.
Our embroidery is done in-house. Our lead times reflect the making, not a delay. When your order arrives, it has been made for your dog specifically.
That is what handmade means to us.
