The Selection
Before anything is cut, the material is chosen. Fabric, hardware, thread — each element selected for the specific piece being made. For personalised orders, thread colour is matched before work begins.
The Cut
Every piece is cut by hand to the measurements of the dog it is being made for. No pre-cut blanks. The pattern is placed, the material is considered, and then — and only then — it is cut.
The Making
The piece is stitched, assembled, and finished entirely by hand in our Brisbane studio. For embroidered pieces, personalisation is completed in-house — the same hands that made the piece mark it as yours.
The Review
Before any Billy Bear piece is packaged, it is checked properly. Hardware tested, stitching inspected, every detail confirmed against the order. Only then does it leave the studio.
